Do you think this and scaling back other security costs would be a good way to save money and still ensure safety of courthouse workers?
I believe we need to be prepared and active with all security and safety of staff, citizens and visitors. It is very important!

There are different options and possible cost saving ideas to allow security to remain at the Welcome Center entrance of the courthouse. I truly believe this should be a joint discussion with all stakeholders within the courthouse and department heads to come up with different ideas and solutions to discuss.

We have had several incidents occur in regard to safety within the courthouse and at the Welcome Center entrance since it opened. It is almost impossible to put a monetary value on the first responder response of the deputy stationed at the Welcome Center for their efforts and actions when an incident has happened or will happen in the future.Â
